Haverford Public Policy Forum

On Saturday March 18, Haverford’s Center for Peace and Global Citizenship hosted their annual Public Policy Forum. The day-long event is a space for students to interact with Bi-Co alum working in various public policy fields ranging from education, law, foreign policy, to health and environment. I attended last year’s forum and was happy to return again this year.

ASA Culture Show: A Work in Translation

This past Saturday October 1, the Bryn Mawr College Asian Students Association hosted their culture show in Goodhart Hall for a mostly full house audience.

“A Work in Translation” aims to explore issues such as language translation, identity translation, and empowerment in translation. Performers include Afreen, Choom Boom, Hometown Hero, Mayuri, Rhea Manglani, and Tai-One, as well as comedian Subhah Agarwal, spoken word artist Rachel Rostad, and taiko drumming group Kyo Daiko. BMCS Gallant // Javelin // Lauv Concert

This Friday night was the Bryn Mawr Concert Series concert of the semester! Instead of our usual 2 concerts per semester, we did one big concert. Gallant won our voting survey for the main act, Sydney and Ann (2 BMCS committee members) chose Lauv, and I chose Javelin as the other acts.
